On our way to Provincetown, Cape Cod, Massachussets, we did the first 70 mile, 9.5 hour leg from Camden to Falmouth. When we moored in Falmouth, a seagull deposited a fish on our solar panels. A gift from above? Not usually ones to look a gift fish in the mouth, we didn’t think it would be wise to keep it, so we threw it back in the ocean, but it’s the thought that counts!

I agree with your decision to throw the fish back into the water. Getting a gift like that from someone you don’t know could lead to a fishy situation (nyuk, nyuk).
That’s worse than, “don’t look a gift fish in the mouth!”
