After sitting out two days of nasty weather in Nantucket, we set out for Martha’s Vineyard. The wind was blowing 18-22 knots with 2.5 foot seas. And Fregata took off like a thoroughbred racehorse, flying over the waves while making over 9.5 knots! By sailing standards, that’s not too shabby.

I appreciated the map of your sailing path and videos. Miss you guys now that we are back in Clover Estates.
Thx
Miss y’all too, Tony!
Lovely solid smooth running. Not only a sailors delight but her solid smooth run Fregara was in her sweet spot.
Many more runs like that this season
Thanks, both!
You really were flying. Love those kinds of sailing days when they happen.
Felt like flying. Nothing like it!

I really miss those days!
Well, if you’re in New England, come for a sail with us!
Do you cuss in Italian, French, or American at the refrigeration? 🙂
Secondly, Happy early b’day to Sandy. Hope it’s great!

All of the above, and we make up some languages too when we need extra cusswords! Thanks from Sandy. Dinner at French restaurant tomorrow eve.

Good luck with the refrigerator repair. Looks like you’re having a great time despite the hardship.

Hi Larry, Like you, we try to make lemonade from lemons, and we are having a great cruise. Stuff breaking is part of sailing life. And each time, as frustrating and occasionally scary as it can be, you always learn something useful. Hope you’re having a good summer so far.
Sorry to hear about your boat issues and am so glad you guys are enjoying yourselves!
You know boats, Kathy. It’s a race of checking off items to repair vs. adding new ones. This week, we gained significant advantage and now have a working freezer, electronics. I think I even managed to fix a glictch with our generator. In your case, with chief maritime engineer Todd on board, you don’t have to worry as much!
