What a season it’s been. 3 months at sea. 53 passages, 1,116 nautical miles traveled (1,338 miles, 2,153 km), and countless views, experiences, and encounters with both people and wildlife.
How do you summarize a season like this? You can’t really, but here are a few highlights.
Thank you for coming along. Thank you for your comments, questions and encouragement. Thank you for tolerating some of the goofier posts and occasional groaning about political affairs.
I write this blog for many reasons. One is that you seem to enjoy it. It’s also a great way for us to reminisce as the vastness of experiences can fade over time. FInally, it provides good references for future cruises, or for others sailing in the same region.
Next year, we plan to return to Canada, to further explore the Maritime provinces.
