The season is over and, with heavy hearts, we left Fregata in the capable hands of Lyman-Morse in Camden and headed home.

With Fall quickly approaching, the days are beautiful, but the nights are getting COLD!

is the anglicized pronunciation of Isle au Haut (sounds like eel-oh-oh). It’s an island, about 7 miles from the mainland where time stands still.

We enjoyed a few pleasant days visiting quiet anchorages with Jim and Donna, and now look foward to our last few weeks of the season on our own.

As the season nears its end, we are soaking up every last bit of a place we’ve come to truly love.

Hurricane Erin passed offshore. Other than unusual ocean swells, it didn’t take away from a beautiful weekend.
